DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR OLD LEAD-ACID BATTERIES. When recycled, virtually 100% of lead-acid batteries are reclaimed and reprocessed into new batteries. Check with local recycling companies. Old batteries can be worth quite a bit of money, so someone will help recycle them for you, and may even move them for free.
