STEP 4: Cost Per Battery (Including Tax & Shipping)
$.00 Per Battery (USD)
(Our low HUP prices include tax and shipping!)
STEP 5: Core Charge Per Battery
(Some battery companies charge an extra fee called a "core charge" when you don't have old batteries to trade in. HUPsolar.com never charges any additional fees!)
HUP
Light areas show projected installation costs. Remember, most batteries
must be installed up to 4 times more often than HUP! Pennies/KWh means $thousands saved over 20 years!
What is the difference between wiring in series and parallel wiring?
Series wiring means that the batteries are connected to each other positive to negative. Think of a flash light batteries that are connected nose to tail, nose to tail.
That's series wiring, and increases the Voltage. Amps or Amp hours stays the same.
With parallel wiring, the batteries are connected positive to positive, and negative to negative. An example would be jump starting your car battery to your neighbor's battery. You connect Positives and negatives. This increases the current to get his car started.
So parallel wiring increases current (amps) and amp hours, but the Voltage stays the same.
